Youth and Family Camp

LINGAYEN – The provincial government will stage the Youth Beach Camp from April 29 to May 1 as one of the highlights of this year’s Pistay Dayat celebration to inculcate social-environmental awareness among the Pangasinan youth.

A brainchild of Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr., the youth camp which will be participated in by Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials of the forty-seven (47) different municipalities and cities in the Pangasinan.

During the beach camp, the youth will undergo a leadership training and will be briefed regarding the Pangasinan history thru an audio-visual presentation prepared by the provincial government. Environmental issues will also be discussed to heighten their awareness on the various environmental issues and concerns especially the protection of the Lingayen Gulf.

At night, the youth will enjoy fellowship party in front of a long line of bonfires. Sponsors and the provincial government will provide tents for the participating youth.

Simultaneously, a Family Beach Camp will be held infront of the former Lion’s Den to coincide with the youth camp. Interested participants are required to bring their own tents.

The sites will be secured with amenities like clean toilets and bathrooms, spacious parking area and a food concessionaire within the area.
